A new client recently told a story we suspected didn’t add up and getting things wrong from the start makes it hard to get things turned around. This young lady explained she was hit from the side and related she was in the traffic lane where she was hit for between 10 – 15 seconds.  This may sound like very little time when in reality it’s quite a bit of time.  We asked her to drive the site of the accident and then print a Google picture of where the accident happened.

While it may seem like we’re asking the client to do the work we’re actually refreshing the client’s recollection of the facts surrounding the accident. These are facts she will be asked over and over and by doing what we ask she can relate those facts from a much different and much better point of view.  How fast were you going, how fast was the other guy going, where were you, what were the conditions and did you know you were going to get hit are time honored questions.  She will be able to give time honored and truthful answers that show she has a mastery of the facts.

In our office we will use the tools of the day… tools that make sense to use. Google Maps is used with both clients in our office and as exhibits in trial.  Seldom does anyone challenge Google’s point of view.  When you say a picture is worth 1000 words you almost cannot help but think Google.  Defense attorneys might use phone and text records if they suspect distracted driving was a contributing factor to a crash.  If a defense attorney wants to know what you do in your off time they will attempt to use social media and show facts undiscovered.  We have seen cases where the injured party complains of unrelenting neck pain on a Friday, go off road motorcycle riding on Saturday and then post pictures on Sunday.  Knowing which tools to use and how they work for and against you makes a difference.

We represent people who are injured because of the careless and reckless acts of others. At the end of the day your case can only be settled one time and you need to know all of the facts beforehand. The reason that insurance companies have paid our clients in excess of $130,000,000.00 is that we get the facts and are not intimidated at the prospect of going to trial when they refuse to follow the law. We help with serious issues that require serious representation. We are the Law Offices of Guenard & Bozarth. We have over 80 years of experience in our plaintiff’s only law firm. Never in my life did I think I would recommend an attorney. Somehow God sent this angel of an attorney to assist me in my personal injury lawsuit. I was told by lawyers in Bakersfield that my lawsuit was frivolous because there was money in it.

I live in Elk Grove where we don’t always have a lot of choices. Lawyers are one area where we have few good choices. I wanted to work with a local law firm after my motorcycle accident, and I chose Glenn Guenard and Ross Bozarth.
