LOW SPEED CAR ACCIDENT
Client was rear ended resulting in $800 damage to fix her bumper. Farmers Insurance Company denied the claim alleging there were not enough forces to have caused client’s neck injury resulting in $20,000 in medical bills.
Farmers hired a doctor and a biomechanical expert to support their denial of client’s claim. A Santa Barbara County jury disagreed with the defense and found in favor of client
in the amount of $332,000 after including costs of suit.
Guenard & Bozarth filed a products liability lawsuit in Federal Court when personal watercraft manufacturer failed to take responsibility for their client’s injuries when it malfunctioned. After several years of litigation and many expert depositions, the case resolved for $3,500,000. More than $3 million was for pain and suffering.
Client was driving on a rural road in San Joaquin County. A pickup trucking hauling a trailer was driving in the opposite direction. The trailer became detached from the pickup truck. Client struck the trailer causing the need for ankle surgery and wage loss. Defendant denied lianbility. The litigation resolved for $2,400,000.
