When was the last time you risked your life to have a meal? As a result of restaurant dining in parking lots many people are risking their personal well-being and may not have ever considered what could happen.

The almost overnight conversion of parking lots into dining areas without sufficient safety considerations has made people at risk from passing cars. Some places have brought in large physical barriers like K-walls to separate diners from cars while others do little more than place some caution tape. With a K-wall barrier a diner has a chance to avoid catastrophic injury but there is no chance to avoid injury from a car with only a tape that says caution.

There are an increasing number of reports of diners being hit in parking lots by passing cars. Sadly we’re not surprised at this result. Parking lots and roadways are designed with motor vehicle traffic in mind and in a manner that protects pedestrians to the greatest extent possible. The entire dynamic changes when the parking lot use changes from pedestrians to stationary people. Designed safety enhancements must be made prior to changing the use of the parking lot or there will be a significant danger to diners. The simple act of designating a parking lot as a dining area does not protect people and when this happens liability must be determined. We Can Help!

Never in my life did I think I would recommend an attorney. Somehow God sent this angel of an attorney to assist me in my personal injury lawsuit. I was told by lawyers in Bakersfield that my lawsuit was frivolous because there was money in it.
