There is often more to a case than what initially gets reported. Sometimes it may be what appears to be a settlement that seems excessive and other times it may be the unreported or under-reported facts. One of the cases where the media under reported the facts happened when California commissioners denied parole for a former San Francisco attorney. Marjorie Knoller is serving a life sentence for a dog mauling case that tested the state’s murders laws. Former attorney Knoller is serving 15 years to life for second degree murder after her dogs attacked and killed their 33 year old neighbor Diane Whipple in 2001.

This was Knoller’s first chance at parole during her second term in prison. She was previously freed in 2004 when her sentence was reduced to involuntary manslaughter and she was sent back to prison when another court reinstated her tougher conviction. The court decided Knoller acted with conscious disregard for human life when her 140 pound dog escaped and killed Whipple.

Bred as a fighting dogs the Presa Canario retains a good degree of aggression making them only suitable for experienced dog owners. If not shown absolute authority the Presa Canario can be an extremely dangerous dog. It should also be noted the Presa Canario is banned in many countries and is considered by many to be one of the most dangerous dogs in the world.

Never in my life did I think I would recommend an attorney. Somehow God sent this angel of an attorney to assist me in my personal injury lawsuit. I was told by lawyers in Bakersfield that my lawsuit was frivolous because there was money in it.
