Quotewizard, a division of LendingTree arrived at the worst drivers in the nation list after assessing the 70 largest cities in America and then ranking them by the quality of drivers.
The Quotewizard annual report looks at such things like insurance quotes, number of speeding tickets given per capita, accidents and DUI arrests. Bakersfield was ranked as having the worst drivers in the state with the Sacramento region finishing a close second. The Sacramento rating saw a large jump from last year where we were ranked in seventh place. A total of eight California cities made the list including Richmond, San Francisco and San Diego.
