If you own a car you are likely affected either directly or indirectly by the Takata Air Bad debacle.  A quick look at the history to this mess is disquieting to even the most jaded legal professional.  In political scandals the phrase what did they know and when did they know is frequently asked and this should have been asked of Takata.

To briefly review Takata is a manufacturer of automobile Air Bags and many of their Air Bags actually caused death and injury as opposed to prevention of death and injury.  This all started in mid 2008 and it was first thought that the issues were limited to Honda’s and that the initial cases were aberrations and the data was not sufficient to prove anything substantive.  As time went on and more cars from more manufacturers were showing signs of a problem it became clear that something was seriously wrong.

As we look back today there is little to no question in anyone’s mind regarding the idea that someone knew something and they knew it a lot sooner than they let on.  When you consider that the initial problems were reported in mid 2008 and today we are at a point where more than 43 Million cars are involved it is hard to believe that no one knew.  In fact, the problem has become so severe that a database has been created so owners can search on their own.

What about your car?  If you have been involved in an accident and irrespective of what happened with your Air Bag you need to know the scoop.  Is your car part of the recall?  Are you and your family at risk?  What should you do next?  Keep in mind that basically the same thing happened with the GM ignition key and many people died and people knew why and those deaths could likely have been prevented.  Automobile recalls grow every year and the increased complexity of today’s cars are only part of the reason.  Another part is a manufacturer wanting to beat the other company to market and not testing like they should.  That’s when people get injured and die.  That’s when someone needs an advocate.

We are GBLegal and when this happens you should know that we have the experience and compassion to be your advocate and see to it that justice is served.  Call us at 888-809-1075 or visit www.gblegal.com  we Can Help!

Never in my life did I think I would recommend an attorney. Somehow God sent this angel of an attorney to assist me in my personal injury lawsuit. I was told by lawyers in Bakersfield that my lawsuit was frivolous because there was money in it.

I live in Elk Grove where we don’t always have a lot of choices. Lawyers are one area where we have few good choices. I wanted to work with a local law firm after my motorcycle accident, and I chose Glenn Guenard and Ross Bozarth.
