The Value Of Labor

As we enter Labor Day weekend we are sharing this photograph taken by Max Whittaker. Max Whittaker took this photograph of a firefighter engaged in what could be considered the firefight of his life. Homes are being lost and firefighters are risking their lives working to protect people, homes and forests. Local police departments are working behind the scenes in support roles and helping to keep evacuated homes and businesses safe from looters.

This is an everyday example of what a first responder is called to do. In this picture you can see the ring on the man’s left hand. It’s reasonable to assume this man has a wife and children who are at home and quite worried about his well-being. These fires are being fought in remote terrain where there is minimal cell coverage and they may not be able to communicate with their loved ones to reassure them about their safety.

Images like this happen every day with local police departments, fire departments and with our military. These first responders get out of bed and just go to work and do what needs to be done. In the case of the Caldor fire there are no 8 hours days, no time for a break period and certainly no comfortable room with a hot shower and flat panel television at days end. They hope at days end to find a meal, possibly a shower and a safe place to close their eyes for a few hours before returning to the fire line.

With the fire exceeding 200,000 acres burned and complete containment no where in sight we want to thank the fire fighters and all first responders everywhere for the work they do along with the very real and often forgotten sacrifices their families make.

We represent people who are injured because of the careless and reckless acts of others. At the end of the day your case can only be settled one time and you need to know all of the facts beforehand. The reason that insurance companies have paid our clients in excess of $130,000,000.00 is that we get the facts and are not intimidated at the prospect of going to trial when insurance companies fail to offer full compensation. We help with serious injuries that require serious representation. We are the Law Offices of Guenard & Bozarth, LLP. Our attorneys have more than 60 years of experience specializing in only representing injured people.. Never in my life did I think I would recommend an attorney. Somehow God sent this angel of an attorney to assist me in my personal injury lawsuit. I was told by lawyers in Bakersfield that my lawsuit was frivolous because there was money in it.
